The Oceanarium in Cartagena is a conservation center, home to more than 1,400 animals of 140 marine species of the Colombian Caribbean, which offers unforgettable experiences to its visitors and education on the importance and care of marine flora and fauna. 

The Oceanarium in Cartagena has been carrying out continuous work for the conservation of sea turtles for more than 20 years. Monitoring of sea turtles that are temporarily in captivity in the Oceanarium has been carried out. 

Additionally, sea turtles are monitored by monitoring coral reefs and nesting beaches.

What to see in the Cartagena Oceanarium
